Hewlett & Martin's "The 16s" Signed Book Pack - Pink Edition
£8.99
We've had dozens of requests for this one to come back, so here it is, a second edition, this time in PINK!
At last, their own (dinky little) book! The 16s was created by Jamie Hewlett and Alan Martin in 1997, as a new project after the failure of the Tank Girl movie. Conceived as a newspaper style comic, The 16s was never syndicated, and lay lost in Jamie's planchest for over a decade.
Considered by some to be the "missing link" between Tank Girl and Gorillaz.
This is the first time the dozen strips have been collected into a stand-alone book. Includes back up material from 2008's The Cream of Tank Girl art book, and all the cartoons and artwork polished up and remastered.
Pack includes an A5 (portrait) twenty-page 16s' book, signed on the back by Alan, an A5 cardboard cut-out print of Nutball, a one inch 16s button badge (now in dirty pink), and an A3 sized 16s poster, signed by Alan.
Shipped in a board-backed envelope.
