OBSCURABILA - Three Vintage Design 25mm Badges
Three obscure artefacts from the annals of Tank Girl/Deadline Magazine...
Three matt-finished d-pin-back badges/buttons, each 25mm in diameter -
The classic, Pulp-referencing "SORTED FOR WHIZZER AND CHIPS" motto in red on white.
The "PLANET SWERVE" logo from the Deadline comic strip of the same name by Glyn Dillon and Alan Martin.
The logo from Phil Bond and Alan Martin's "CIRCULAR FIELD", scratchily hand-drawn by Alan back in 1989.
Limited to 50 sets.
Hand made by Tank Girl co-creator Alan.
Presented on a special 1970s style backing card.
"Alan bought himself a new badge/button making machine. Wistfully recalling happy seaside holidays in the 1970s, he started making the kind of badges that he remembered being sold in pier kiosks, fun fairs, and street markets way-back-when."
