A rare chance to own an original page of Jamie Hewlett's artwork. This page has been in our possession for over thirty years.

The title splash page from Part 5 of Jamie Hewlett's infamous Deadline Magazine comic strip "Fireball", originally published in Issue #30 of Deadline Magazine, June 1991.

Rendered in felt tip markers, Pantone markers, and acrylic paint, onto heavy-weight white card. The Fireball logo has been hand-cut from coloured film.

This Fireball episode was written, drawn, coloured, and hand-lettered by Jamie.

Overall dimensions 31.5cm x 45.5cm approx.

Jamie's script notes are still visible, pencilled onto the margins, showing how he made it up as he went along.

As with most of Jamie's artwork from this era, a slight amount of dulling has occurred, due to age and the materials he used to create his artwork. However, the colours are still vibrant and contrast is good.

The page has been kept flat and has suffered no bends, knocks or other damage.

Along with the artwork, you will also receive a copy of Deadline #30, featuring the artwork in print.
